Overview

About This Program

This 10-week, small-group program provides practical digital learning for older Queenslanders, particularly people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Participants learn at their own pace through guided practice, repetition and plain-language instruction. The program is designed to reduce digital exclusion and support safer, more independent participation in everyday life.

Why This Program Matters

Community Need

Essential services, communication and everyday activities are increasingly online. Limited digital skills, confidence or English proficiency can leave older people at greater risk of exclusion.

Program Purpose

The program builds practical digital capability so participants can communicate, find trusted information and access important online services with greater confidence.

Accessible Delivery

Small groups, guided practice and culturally responsive support reduce learning barriers and allow participants to progress at a comfortable pace.

Intended Outcomes

Greater digital confidence, safer online behaviour, improved access to services and stronger connection with family, community and everyday life.
